Speedy, High Protein Yoghurt Bowl (for Sweet Brekkie lovers)

Sweet Brekkie Lovers 

This one's for you.

I never used to like a sweet breakfast. I just didn't feel as satisfying, however lately, I've been loving the ease of this highly nourishing brekkie. Life has been on the go and I've had my schedule become a little more hectic in the mornings; this has meant that I don't have as much time to spend on an omelette or eggs or even heating up tofu for that matter.

This is quick, delicious and extremely photogenic (which is always a bonus in my line of work now).

INGREDIENTS

BOWL:

1 cup Nush Cashew or Almond Yoghurt

1 cup frozen blueberries

1 teaspoon vanilla powder

2 scoops of protein powder

TOPPING:

1 teaspoon Chia seeds

1 handful of Granola (I'm using deliciously Ellas)

1 sprinkle of cashew nuts

1 teaspoon of nut butter

A few more frozen blueberries

 

METHOD:

1. Blend all the bowl ingredients together. Make sure you blend well so the consistency becomes smooth.

2. Add topping.

3. Consume.

Bam - that's it, you get your protein, your carbohydrates and fats as well as a badass serving of probiotics from the Yoghurt. It's such an awesome way to nourish and prep yourself for a busy day ahead. I also find that I can workout on this (whereas other meals feel just that little bit too filling for squat jumps and hip thrusts).
